My SO doesn't mind pulling the forks off so he said he'd do it tonight. I have an idea for the wires on the blinker that I'm going to show him tonight and if that works then off we go.
It's less trouble to take the forks off than it is to cut through the brackett, and not damage the forks in the process.
Front tire has to come off to put the chrome hub on anyways so he's going to do the front end of the bike first. Don't know if we'll finish tonight but of course I'm cooking a nice supper for him. He's usually the cook. And no, you guys can't have him. He's a cook and works on motorcycles too. And a few more qualities I won't mention.
